Since spring is officially here, I thought this Free Water Bottle Cozy Crochet Pattern would be a hit as everyone is beginning to spend more time outdoors! I am always putting mine in my purse but when I go for a walk I have to just carry it. My grandma was super excited about this one also (I gave her the one I made while creating this pattern) – Hope you enjoy this one. The strap feature is amazing because then you can just throw it over your shoulder and you don’t have to worry about carrying it.

Size: One size – Fits standard 16.9 oz water bottle
I (5.5mm) Crochet Hook
Cotton Worsted Weight (4) Yarn
St = Stitch
Sl st = Slip Stitch
DC = Double Crochet
SC = Single Crochet
Ch = Chain
BLO = Back Loop Only
How to read this pattern:
-This pattern is worked in rounds, each round is joined with a slip stitch.
RD 1: Start with a magic ring and do 12 dc into the ring. Tighten it up.
RD 2: Ch 2, 1 dc into same st, *2 dc in each st around*
RD 3: Ch 1, 1 sc into each st around
RD 4: Ch 1, 1 sc into BLO in each st around
RD 5: Ch 2, 1 dc into same st and each st around
RD 6: Ch 1, sc into same st and each st around
RD 7: Repeat RD 5
RD 8: Repeat RD 6
RD 9: Repeat RD 5
RD 10: Repeat RD 6
RD 11: Repeat RD 5
RD 12: Repeat RD 6
RD 13: Repeat RD 5
RD 14: Repeat RD 6
RD 15: Repeat RD 5
RD 16: Repeat RD 6
RD 17: Ch 100, connect to opposite side with sl st careful not to twist the chain. Sc into the same st and 1 sc in each st across the chain until you get to the opposite side. Tie off and weave in ends.
Optional (for extra support) RD 18: Sl st then sc into the last st, sc around rim to the other side of the strap and do the same on the other side between the straps to even it out. Tie off and weave in ends.
