I am so excited to share this pattern with you, it’s a crocheted bow tie for newborn photos. I recently started doing some photography on the side – check out my Facebook Page here!
Worsted Weight Yarn
I Crochet Hook
St = Stitch
SC = Single Crochet
Ch = Chain
RD 1: Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook to the end, ch1, turn.
RD 2-11: Sc to the end of the row, ch 1, turn.
RD 3: Sc to the end of the row. Tie off & leave a long strand for the next step (I left about 12 inches)
You should have a 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch square at this point.
Now, fold that square in half and use your tapestry needle and long strand to stitch all the way around.
Once you have done that, you will wrap yarn around the middle of the rectangle to make the bow.
Using 2 STRANDS of the same color yarn, ch 50 and tie off. Weave this through the yarn your wrapped around the middle of the bow tie and you’re ready to go!
