It only took a couple hours and about $60 in wood!
I can’t take credit for any of this, it was my husband’s idea. He came up with his own measurements and built it from scratch. It was made to fit into the corner of our garage so it was not in the way of our vehicles.
Feel free to leave any questions in the comments section at the bottom of this page and I will get back to you shortly! :) Happy Crafting!!
Note: If you want additional support in the middle of the shelves, you will need an additional (4) pieces measuring 2 x 4 x 13in.
From the top of the shelf to the top of the next shelf you want 20 inches. From the bottom shelf to the floor, 20 inches also. That should fit perfectly!
Place two of the 2 x 4 x 80 inch pieces along the sides and line up with the shelf edges. The 4 inch sides should be facing the shelves and the ceiling.
Hold together with the wood clamps after you have measured and made sure your bins or boxes will fit correctly, or adjust as needed.
Secure with 2 screws on each shelf to hold that front piece onto the shelves. Once you are done, flip it over and do the same thing on the other side! Make sure all the pieces are lined up and straight before you screw into them.
Enjoy the transformation! What a great and organized way to display your storage bins/items that are put away in the garage or the basement.
Have you made one of these? Are you planning to, what do you need to organize? Leave any questions or concerns in the comments below and I will get back to you shortly!
