I am so in love with this diaper clutch tutorial I found online over at A Lemon Squeezy Home. I will put the link at the bottom of the page below my pictures so you can find her original tutorial with pattern printables!
Here are the pictures of how my diaper clutch turned out! I LOVE IT!
Fabric about 1/4 yard per pattern
Sew on Velcro
Make sure you WASH the fabric before making this. I used flannel for the outside and cotton for the inside, although you could use home decor fabric to make it stiff (I didn’t have any) or you could use vinyl to make it waterproof… which might be wise with little ones ;) haha!
Here is what the pattern pieces should look like after you have finished cutting them out and taping them together:
Make sure you iron your fabric to ensure it is flat :)
Here is what the two pieces should look like after you finish sewing on the velcro.
After all pieces are cut out and the velcro is sewn on, make sure to layer the pieces the correct way so that it will come out correctly! Here’s how mine looked. The outside fabric for mine is the two green pieces.
Sew all the way round where the white is shown and keep the short piece on the end open (this is where you will turn the piece inside out)
Turn right side out (This took me a few tries – it may look like you messed up but you just need to pull from a different spot when turning) Now, fold the edges down about 1/4 inch or so and top stitch closed.
Now, you have a finished adorable diaper clutch! Here’s mine! If you make one, please leave a picture of it in the comments. I’d love to see them!
Here is the link for the lovely tutorial I used over at A Lemon Squeezy Home, which has more detailed instructions! I hope you enjoy and have fun with this!
